This series examines the visual and perceptual interplay between illumination and shadow. Through variations of tone, contrast, and surface, each painting investigates how light defines structure, depth, and spatial presence. The works reflect a sustained interest in the boundaries between clarity and obscurity — where form emerges, dissolves, and reappears through shifting conditions of light. Collectively, the series considers not only the physical properties of illumination, but also its capacity to shape atmosphere, evoke mood, and articulate the subtleties of visual experience.
